We are looking for a motivated Sales Manager Offshore & IoT to join our team
as our opportunities are greater than our capacity.

The Position

As Sales Manager Offshore & IoT, you will be part of the marketing and sales team currently challenging the market on how real-time ocean data is provided, in a combination of Software-as-a-Service subscription and traditional direct sales. We are front runners in the industry and this position will fuel the ongoing change.

This position reports to Miros’ Chief Commercial Officer.


  • Actively chase new opportunities and customers.
  • Build/establish new markets and business segments.
  • Manage sales opportunities into signed contracts.
  • Present and demonstrate customer value through Miros’ services and solutions.
  • Build good customer relations.
  • Contribute actively to our marketing initiatives.
  • Represent Miros in exhibitions and trade shows.

Who are we looking for?

First and foremost, you are passionate about marketing and closing sales. You have a few years of sales experience, with curiosity, energy, and drive that will make you reach for the stars.

You have a genuine understanding of customer value which is derived from subscription models. A commercial mindset with a bit of geekiness will be a killer combination. If you in addition have experience in the marine/vessel/offshore business, it is even better.

You also have an outgoing attitude and like to socialize. This position will require international travel.

Furthermore, your background:

  • M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree.
  • Experience in commercial/customer-focused roles.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing and sales tasks.
  • Strong written and oral communication in English and Norwegian.
  • Team-working and interpersonal skills.
  • Enjoy talking about technology trends and explaining technical concepts to a range of audiences.
